This island is home to one of the few relics which remains standing from the Mayan period, the Maya Lighthouse, situated at the peak of the island. The island is very close to Cancún, where you can enjoy a range of activities, and which can be reached by ferry from Punta San or from Puerto Juárez. From the latter point, the journey takes about 15 minutes.
